This workout uses the stability ball and other pieces of equipment like the BOSU Ball, which increases internal core stability. Exercises are organized to require one half of the core to work for stability while the other half of the core does a movement.
Isolate the seat from movements done in the upper body, including staying upright throughout the ride. Actions done in the saddle by the upper body often disrupts lower body stability. When the core has this separation between upper and lower body engagement, the seat has more driving power.
The primary muscle in workout is the hamstring, responsible for driving the horse forward.
