RIDER REHABILITATION

The membership grants athletes online access to exercises that help mobility in areas that have suffered an injury or strain.  This membership is to be done by athletes who’ve received the “OKAY TO RIDE AND WORKOUT” from their health care professional/doctor.  Our exercises are specific to a horseback riders who’ve had time off and are getting back at it.

Post injury or surgery in the lower body can lead to major compensations in one’s seat.  Equestrians tend to forget about the pain and learn to live with them instead.  Proper alignment of a horseback rider is so important to a riders seat and balance in the saddle.   Not all exercises should be done by every athlete and consult you doctor before starting any workout program but if you’re riding a horse, our exercises should be fine.

Access…

  • Exercises for each of the following areas of the body; Upper and Lower Back, Hips and Pelvis, The Lower Body, Shoulders, Arms and Neck.
  • Exercises to help increase mobility and strength for areas of the body that have either been broken, sprained, torn or any way limited either by the horse or something else.  Most can be done daily to help develop stability in areas that the body is protecting in the saddle.
  •      Access to articles that address concerns for horseback riders and how to avoid compensations, with more exercise options for specific problems.
  •      All rider rehab exercises should be done continuously to prevent future limitations as athletes become stronger and back to full work.  Once rehab is over, rider rehab can help prevent restrictions and limitations from riding horses.
