Never begin riding or an exercise program without first checking with your regular doctor or physician. Condition the body prior to getting in the saddle! The wear and tear on an equestrians from daily riding can take a toll out on the spine and joints. Regular core strength training helps prevent and rehabilitate the body to withstand the vigorous sport of riding horses. However it does not substitute for standard medical care.
