The power that you gain from eating vegetables is on a cellular level. The body reacts to vitamins and minerals that are in plants that we eat. A diet rich in vegetables has been proven to provide healthy benefits such as treating disease and decreasing your risk of all kinds of cancers.

Veggies help lower the risk of hear disease and stroke. Lowers blood pressure, boosts your immune system and improves your vision. There’s a ton of power packed in vegetables but it’s hard to get eat that many veggies, every day.
Baby Steps
Add to Every Meal
Make small goals and over time, it will get easier! So let’s start by making sure to have vegetables at every meal. If you already do this, then aim to fill half your plate with them. These baby steps can be difficult at first but then you will start to feel better and more chemically balanced.
Diet can be an overwhelming concept and vegetables are only one part of eating healthy! But fruits and vegetables carry some of the most important nutrients that our bodies need, and rarely do people get enough. Focus on eating veggies for at least a week and make the small steps towards the goal of eating for an athletic lifestyle.
